Financial records are abundant in traditional archives, and increasing numbers of scholars are interested in exploring options for displaying information about such records as part of projects in Digital Humanities, Digital History, Documentary Editing, Libraries, and Archives.
This site provides a space for discussing ideas, needs, challenges, and possible solutions for such projects. It offers a place to explore various methods that have been suggested by members of the TEI community, links to existing resources regarding historical financial records, and a growing collection of examples.
Initial research that led to the creation of this site was supported in part by a Start-Up Grant from the Office of Digital Humanities at the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations herein do not necessarily reflect those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
